According to Wikipedia, Scrabble is a word game in which two to four players score points by placing tiles bearing a single letter onto a board divided into a 15×15 grid of squares. The tiles must form words that, in crossword fashion, read left to right in rows or downward in columns, and be included in a standard dictionary or lexicon. I am
so blessed and feeling so joyful knowing that all my efforts were recognized
not just in school but also in my awesome workplace when it comes to playing
Scrabble. For me, it is not just a game but it’s already part of my life. It all
started when my Lola Eps introduced to me this truly one of a kind mind game. It
happened in Gamaon, Mangagoy Bislig Surigao del Sur. At first, it’s like the
normal connecting words and not aiming to get higher points but as time goes by
it turns out to be a challenge for me. So, from High School to College then to
my current workplace, I considered myself as a Scrabble player!

Yes, And I’m so proud of these small achievements. I didn’t expect that it will become my cup of tea. As far as I remembered, when I was studying in Maryknoll School of Lupon, I got the gold medal in Scrabble during third and fourth year Intramurals and the biggest event was during the Diocesan Catholic School Athletic Association or DCSAA, I’m not sure if it’s the correct meaning ha-ha. Then, when I’m in Ateneo de Davao University, it was in “Palarong Atenista”, I placed consistent 1st runner up for 4 consecutive years, I don’t know what’s wrong with me at that time, but one thing is for sure, I am very vulnerable and yet so soft to cute and handsome Scrabble men lol! Kidding! I should say the toughest Scrabble Competition I ever had. I feel so honored and at the same time feeling so pressured, though I got the Gold Medal in our division for 4 years straight representing the Vipers- Business and Management. Vipers, I’ll be back in school and I will get that Gold Medal very soon! I promise!
